Over the weekend, after much anticipation, the sweet baby soiree that I've been planning took place. And what a fun afternoon it was. Surrounded by light shades of pink, yellow, and green, the lovely ladies enjoyed an afternoon full of all things sweet. I couldn't have asked for a nicer day to have a party outside on my patio, except for the fact, that some food took the brunt of the nice summer-like sun.
The menu was simple. Finger foods alike. Cucumber, egg salad, and tuna salad little tea sandwiches. A plethora of eclectic cheeses. Banana cupcakes with strawberry frosting. And one candy bar you can't forget.
The simplicity of our coordinating colors {pink, yellow, green} is what made the ambience so delightful. And the centerpieces, a nice little succulent arrangement with handmade paper medallions, made for a fun giveaway at the end of the day.
The afternoon of sweets definitely left me in a food coma, but it was quite the soiree to simply welcome new baby Gilderman.
I was so pleased to work with these ladies in putting this little shindig together. It was loads of fun and I can't wait to do it again!
