Although I'm not quite ready for the cold weather and the fast approaching holiday season, I cannot wait for next week to be here. The full moon must have got the best of a lot of people this week and I'm ready to start fresh. In the doldrums of leading up to today's holiday (and a much needed day off), here are a few things that managed to brighten an otherwise dreary week.

the nicest barista ever wrapped a gift card for a friend's bday in a cute mini cup
a comfort rainy night meal: grilled cheese, tomato soup and homemade croutons
