art festival finds

This past weekend was one of my favorite festivals, Patchwork. It's a local art & craft show that brings a bunch of unique and talented individuals along with their creations to the Long Beach Marina for the day. Always accompanied by some awesome food trucks and beautiful weather. I picked up just a few items but I truly love the ones I got! A gold leather wrap bracelet from salvage shop (my mom got an awesome wallet from her too) and a pretty amazing postcard print from courtney oquist. I love being able to support local artists and being inspired by how hard they work.

Lately, I have been drawn to more simplistic design and since discovering this awesome french design studio, I've been on inspiration overload. Take a look for yourself. 

summer time chevronettes

Hello doll. I stumbled across these lovely watercolor prints yesterday from Inslee and I found myself surprisingly giddy for their simplicity and elegance. Besides of course, the chevron swimwear. I for one think any of these charming and stylish prints would make for some killer framed art or a nice note for a good friend, you choose. I'll take miss chevron with the floppy hat.

Inslee even does commissions. Look at this one she did from an shoot for Elle France. Pretty spot on if you ask me.
