oatmeal is back

A resounding favorite treat among my friends is the traditional oatmeal cookie. Sadly, it seems as though every time I make them, I can't achieve the gooey-like texture that I remember when we were kids. That is until I discovered this recipe. A much healthier version of your normal oatmeal cookie so you don't feel bad if you eat all of them, which I nearly did. To top it off, I was able to add my most favored ingredient for all things cake or cookies, peanut butter.



And I added mini chocolate chips! The perfect mix of favorite childhood flavors.
