friendsgiving: my reason to give thanks

This past weekend was full of all my reasons why I'm thankful: family, friends, good food, and a place to call home. As we all know when we get older, the people in our lives often disperse and don't get together as often as we'd like to, especially during the holidays. So this year I decided to give us a reason to party. Friendsgiving is Thanksgiving without all the hassle of a turkey. It's dinner with the people you care about (basically your second family) and time to unwind from the holiday chaos. I'm excited to share some photos of a possible tradition in the making...

Can't forget the sweets. Pumpkin cupcakes and banana cream pudding pies.

All I can say is oh la la amour.

Bonjour! I came across this 'springtime in paris' themed affair via this party lady and I couldn't wait to share how cute it was! The sweet table has me at a loss for words... because I just love, love, love it. I am slightly obsessed with all things Paris. I traveled there once and absolutely fell head over heals for the city of love. It is such an amazing city full of beautiful people, places, and cuisine. It definitely holds a soft spot in my heart and I love finding ways to incorporate it in my little beach city life.

And I'm definitely looking into getting those eiffel tower lollipop molds! They are just adorable. Who could resist them?
