It's fair season in the OC and it's my favorite part of summer. The yearly tradition of fried foods in outrageous amounts, delicious desserts, insanely priced games with crappy stuffed toys, face painting, arts, crafts, smelly BUT cute animals in all shapes and sizes, rides with license plates, photo booths, and old funky music is what summer has been to me since I was a kid.
Don't you just love these posters for the Minnesota state fair? I appreciate the simple gesture of using a corn dog and a pickle to depict what the fair is. What is the fair to you?
