{inspiration} seeing spots

One of my favorite patterns is definitely spotted, dotted, polkas whatever you like to call them. They honestly get me every time and I love it. I thought I'd share some spotted looks I've been loving lately.  Enjoy.

Lately I can't help but ignore the fact that all I want to wear is green pants. I don't know what's gotten into me, but it's hard to fight the urge to have a bright colored bottom half. I recently read the best comparison to colored jeans from one of my favorite ladies of fashion, "Colored pants are like girl scout cookies. They are everywhere and I can't stop buying them!" Needless to say, I have a similar feeling so here are a few of my favorite brand of jeans in shades of green. (If you have short legs like me, these jeans are the best, no hem needed!)

Now that it's fall and more sweaters are starting to make their first appearances of the year, I'm really digging on elbow patches. I've seen a few of them out and about showing their pretty selves and they always seem to put a smile on my face. Yes elbow patches make me smile, crazy I know.

With the first day of fall creeping up on us (the end of the week, if you didn't know) I thought it only fitting to put together a round up of my newest favorite fall combo, olive and lace. I saw this photo and about died, I loved it so much. So here are some of my favorite things in this pretty fall combo.

There are so many things about this photo that caught my eye. The leopard shoes, the yellow nails and that pink dress. All killer pieces and all things I love. Not to mention that hex bolt braided anklet and the gold accessories. Are you sure that's not me modeling?

I'm one to admit that I am no fashion guru, nor do I claim to have any expertise in that area. Although I do try my fair share at it, sometimes more successful than others and recently, I've discovered that my favorite season for fashion, colors, and accessories is SPRING. The floral prints, sunshine, light fabrics, and subtle tones make me feel all giddy inside.
